Now that we’ve firmly returned to live, Ticketmaster have revealed their curated list of ten breakthrough artists set to make it big this year.

Shepherd’s Bush rapper Central Cee, aka Cench, tops the list with his punchy one-liners and melodic sampled beats which are hyping up the drill scene, followed by Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Tems who is championing West African alté through her fusion of neo soul and Afro-R&B.

Next up is Brighton’s resident cheeky chappy MC ArrDee who rose to instant fame with his feature on Russ Millions and Tion Wayne’s viral hit ‘Body (Remix)’, and the vocal powerhouse of Mimi Webb whose octave-destroying ballads and confessional storytelling have made her the first UK female artist since Dua Lipa in 2017 to land two singles in the UK Top 15 before the release of her debut album.

Bradford trio Bad Boy Chiller Crew are next on the list, powering the resurgence of 00s bassline house for the next-gen ravers, and it wouldn’t be a breakthrough list without lockdown breakout star Holly Humberstone, fresh from her BRIT Award and clocking over 200 million global streams to date.

Best known for ‘Peng Black Girls’, South London rapper ENNY also makes the breakthrough list with her hard-hitting bars, and it’s impossible to miss the effortlessly cool Isle of Wight duo Wet Leg whoare causing waves with over seven million streams of their of ear worming indie-punk.

Finally, Swiss-Tamil tastemaker Priya Ragu features with her soulful electo-pop beats, Kollywood samples and Krishna mantras, and South London singer-songwriter Lola Young brings her hook-laden storytelling to the list with neo-jazz ballads, haunting vocals topped with an irresistible velvet sheen.
