The CenturyLink Box Office team needed an easier event creation and ticketing solution for third party organisers renting out the venue and WAMU theatre.

They wanted to be able to sell tickets and make updates to their events quickly and efficiently. The ticketing platform they previously used failed to meet their basic needs and expectations with regards to customisation and website integration.

Solution

Universe was able to provide Box Office staff with a valuable solution including a simple checkout flow that was easily integrated into any third party website.

Third party organisers were able to maintain control over their branding, web design, and collect valuable customer data from their events.

Organisers also benefited from a seamless onsite check-in process with the help of Universe’s BoxOffice app.

Result

Universe has worked with CenturyLink since 2017, during that time we’ve partnered with CenturyLink’s Box Office staff to ticket 14 events ranging
from food festivals to comic-cons that have been held in the stadium and WAMU theatre. Events such as Bacon, Eggs & Kegs, Ace ComicCon, Sumo + Sushi, and NOLA Food & Funk Festival. These events were attended by over 300k people and have resulted in 1.3M in sales to date.
