The album was announced with exciting news of two intimate live shows; one at London’s iconic club XOYO and one at the digital arts and modern music centre Gaite Lyrique in the heart of Paris.
To gain exclusive presale access to the shows, Carly’s European label Polydor worked with Ticketmaster International Artist Services to create and manage an official album pre-order for presale campaign. With approximately 40% of tickets to the shows being first available only to those fans who pre-ordered the new record from the artist’s official store.

Ticketmaster Artist Services built the landing page for fans to find tickets to their preferred show and generated the necessary passcodes for fans to enter the presale.

With demand for tickets being so high while availability was low, battling touts and the for-profit-secondary-ticket-market, Ticketmaster worked closely with the London promoter and venue owner Columbo Group on a 100% digital ticket campaign. All inventory was sold via Ticketmaster using our digital-only ticket service, which locks the ticket to the original purchaser’s smart phone, helping to considerably deter professional resellers. Ticketmaster’s operations team worked with the London venue to install Ticketmaster’s Portable-Access-Manager system specially for the Carly Rae Jepsen show, to scan fans into the venue.
Both London and Paris shows sold out phenomenally quickly, with only a fraction of tickets for the London date appearing on secondary sites thanks to the digital identity based ticketing that Ticketmaster offers.
