36 crazyfists merch bundle

Ahead of the band’s arrival in the UK this February, we caught up with frontman Brock Lindow to chat about the new record, support bands and record collections…

How does it feel to be heading back to the UK with a new album in 2015?

Dynamite!! We are chomping at the bit to get this tour fired off and jam with our UK Faithful. The fans, their passion and the connection we share from the stage is something I am very grateful for.

This is your sixth album now, were there any new new elements to explore?

We’re hopefully still evolving on each record but still hanging close to our roots, so I think the album has a great balance of who we are and what our sound is.

What can you tell us about the support bands on the UK run?

All Hail The Yeti are our brothers and we just love them. They are coming over for their first time and it’s going to be special for them, I can’t wait to see them rock every night. Cytota are a band from the UK that I actually haven’t met but they sound killer, I’m looking forward to meeting them.

What bands will be on your tour bus playlist?

I’m sure it will be a nice mix of classic rock, metal and outlaw country. Alice In Chains’ Jar of Flies calms me when I fly so that’s always there.

If we rummaged through your own record collection, what would be the most surprising album in there?

Hmm! My collection is pretty diverse, you would probably see a ton of Alaskan local bands that you would dig.

Finally, any advice for the people heading out to see you in the UK?

Wear a helmet!! It’s time to Rage!
