360° virtual reality gigs will soon be a reality for the iconic O2 Academy Brixton.
Academy Music Group have teamed up with Live Nation UK and Melody VR to deliver the Live From O2 Academy Brixton series, with tickets being sold exclusively through Ticketmaster.
Fans can choose their favourite spot in the venue to watch the show, move around the venue, and even watch from the stage itself.
The announcement follows the 360° event Wireless Connect which featured new and exclusive performances from London and LA from 70 artists. Delivered by Festival Republic and MelodyVR, Wireless Connect drew in 132,000 fans from over 34 countries. MelodyVR said the audience interacted with the performance more than a million times over the weekend,

Performances will be available across the world in 360° and virtual reality on the MelodyVR app or Oculus VR device.
