As more Drive In events are announced in the UK, the event concept is already revving around the globe.

German Handball Club TUSEM Essen hosted a drive in cinema to celebrate coming 1st place in Germany’s top professional handball league Handball-Bundesliga. 

The team invited hundreds of fans in red and white decorated cars to celebrate the promotional heroes of the past season as they watched tributes, messages and footage on the big screen.

Meanwhile in Denmark, a series of Drive In gigs have been running since April alongside films, family events and comedy nights.

The site in Tangkrogen Park can hold up to 500 cars who can all tune into audio using their FM radio.

In Amsterdam the Thuishaven Drive Thru Festival took place on a regular party site, with timed entry, food and drink stalls, a car wash and DJs providing the entertainment.
