The Great Escape has announced the FIRST FIFTY acts to play the festival in Brighton on 12 – 15 May 2021 including Arlo Parks and Bree Runway who featured on our Ticketmaster New for 2020 list this year, along with Holly Humberstone, AMA and more.
2021 will mark the festival’s 15th anniversary, and will host 450+ of the world’s most exciting up and coming artists across 30+ walkable venues in Brighton.
With development of the first two vaccines as well as the roll-out of government trials for mass testing and tracing, The Great Escape is confident that a full capacity event can be achieved. Through a mix of vaccine and testing, as well as trial events, the festival will be ready and eager to safely welcome people back to live music.
The Great Escape’s music-led conference is also back and will feature key figures from across the industry, with a series of insightful panels, topical debates, keynote speeches and network opportunities.
In the lead up to TGE21, The Road To The Great Escape will be stopping off in Glasgow from 8-9 May 2021 and in Dublin from 10-11 May 2021, bringing a selection of the most exciting new talent from The Great Escape’s line-up to multiple venues across both cities.
The Great Escape has also announced Grassroots Suicide Prevention as the lead charity partner for TGE21 for a second year running. Based in Brighton and operating nationally, Grassroots Suicide Prevention is a UK leader in suicide prevention, supporting people in the community to develop the skills and confidence needed to save lives through open and courageous conversations. When purchasing festival tickets and conference passes for TGE21, customers will be given an opportunity to donate to Grassroots Suicide Prevention.
