Amongst the winners are the Music Venue Trust who were awarded ‘The H’ award for their impact on and dedication to the music industry during the pandemic.
The award was presented by Frank Turner who has been a huge supporter of the Music Venue Trust over the past 18 months, along with Sarah Slater – Ticketmaster’s VP Client Development for Music & Festivals.
Andrew Parsons, MD of Ticketmaster UK said:
‘We are delighted to present the H Award to the Music Venue Trust, there is no one more deserving. For years we’ve witnessed the phenomenal work they do for the industry, but the significance of this work really shone through these last 18 months when grassroots venues needed it the most. A huge hats off to their dedication and achievements, and we look forward to supporting them throughout the return to live and beyond.”
Other winners include Bring Me The Horizon who took home the award for Best Album and Best UK Band, Wargasm who won Best UK Breakthrough Band and Nova Twins who were awarded Best Video for ‘Taxi’.
