Ticketmaster is supporting Eat Your Own Ears (EYOE) to host a series of events in aid of Doctors Without Borders. These events, part of the EYOE Recommends series, spotlight new music and emerging artists at The Shacklewell Arms in London. Performances have already taken place on July 3rd and 10th, with the final event scheduled for July 17th. Meet the acts performing here.
The events are utilising Universe, a Ticketmaster platform that offers features like Waitlists and a Pay What You Want option. This flexibility enhances attendance and donations, making the events more accessible to a broader audience. Universe helps provide a seamless experience for both fans and organisers, enabling quick event listings, live updates, and same-day ticket sales. In addition, the series will leverage Ticketmaster Local, Ticketmaster’s discoverability platform that showcases grassroots venues across the UK, and will support the venue to expand its reach to new audiences.
The EYOE Recommends series supports Doctors Without Borders, an organisation that delivers emergency medical aid to people in crisis across more than 70 countries. For more information, visit Doctors Without Borders.
It’s been really great working with Ticketmaster Local and their Universe platform on the current Shacklewell Arms EYOE Recommends series this July, they have significantly elevated the event’s visibility and also streamlined the ticketing process for everyone.
Features like the ‘Pay What You Want’ option and also the waitlist functionality on Universe have been very effective in engaging our audience and maximising attendance. It’s been really easy to work with Ticketmaster, so we thank them for their support in being able to connect promote the shows to as many people as possible and also to facilitate the donations for this current series for Doctors Without Borders.” – Tom Baker – Eat Your Own Ears
