The countdown is officially on. In just one week, the Ticketmaster team will return to Brighton for The Great Escape Festival 2026, bringing together the most exciting emerging artists, industry professionals, and music fans from across the globe.
With a packed schedule of showcases, parties, and panels, this year’s programme promises a dynamic mix of discovery and celebration; spotlighting the artists shaping the future of music.
Kicking Things Off: Wednesday 13th May
The festival begins in style with The Great Escape Launch Party at the TGE Beach Site from 18:00–20:00. Expect sunset vibes, industry buzz, and the first taste of what’s to come as Brighton gears up for three days of non-stop music. We will have Ticketmaster members present, so be sure to look out for us!
Thursday 14th May: Showcases Take Centre Stage
Thursday blends networking and live music, starting with our Ticketmaster Exclusive Delegate Drinks Party at Red Roaster (15:00–17:00): a chance for industry professionals to connect before the evening’s performances. Please reach out to Tim Goom here if you are interested in RSVPing.
From 16:15 onwards, attention shifts to the Ticketmaster New Music Showcase at Deep End (TGE Beach): a standout lineup featuring some of the most talked-about new acts:
- Brooki (16:00) – Dublin’s rising alternative rock four-piece, already drawing comparisons to PJ Harvey and Jeff Buckley, open the showcase with raw intensity.
- Nectar Woode (17:00) – Blending Ghanaian influences with soulful storytelling, Nectar brings warmth, honesty, and a deeply personal sound shaped in South London.
- Em Beihold (18:00) – With her global hit “Numb Little Bug” amassing over 450 million streams, Em Beihold arrives as one of the festival’s biggest crossover stars ahead of her debut album.
- Haute & Freddy (19:00) – A theatrical, genre-blurring duo delivering a “carnival of sound and spectacle,” and tipped by Spotify as one to watch in 2026.
- Julia Cumming (20:00) – The Sunflower Bean frontwoman steps into the spotlight with an exciting new solo project, making this a must-see early performance.
- Lime Garden (21:00) – Brighton’s own indie favourites return home with new material, bringing local energy and a growing national profile.
- The Lottery Winners (22:00) – Closing the night, the Live Nation-promoted band headline the showcase fresh from their UK tour, delivering their signature feel-good indie-pop.
Friday 15th May: Industry Insight & Beachside Sounds
Friday begins with a Tickets For Good panel session and drinks reception at 11:00, offering insight into accessibility and innovation within live events.
As the sun sets, the music returns to the beach for the Ticketmaster New Music Showcase at Soundwaves (Main Beach) from 18:30–22:30:
- Fool Nelson (18:15) – Setting the tone with fresh, genre-blending sounds.
- BABYRAT (19:15) – Bringing bold energy and rising buzz.
- Max Baby (20:15) – Continuing the night with cutting-edge pop influences.
- Villanelle (21:15) – A name gaining traction with a distinctive artistic identity.
- Kids Return (22:15) – Closing the showcase with their acclaimed indie sound.
