Ticketmaster is set to host its inaugural Comedy Mixer, a networking event to bring together professionals from across the comedy industry. Taking place Wednesday, 30th October at Big Belly Southbank in London, this event will offer more than just the chance to connect with peers – it will provide exclusive insights into the current state of the comedy sector.

“We’ll be sharing new research that offers a clear view of the current state of the comedy industry,” says Andrew Parsons, Managing Director at Ticketmaster UK. “This data will shed light on audience behaviours, market trends, and emerging opportunities – valuable insights for anyone looking to refine their strategies and stay ahead in this ever-evolving landscape. The Mixer is designed to bring the industry together to not only network, but also to gain a deeper understanding of the forces shaping comedy today.”

Industry leaders from the BBC, Just The Tonic, Comedy Carnival, Clandestina and Big Belly Comedy Club will participate in a panel discussion, sharing their perspectives on how different settings impact comedy trends and audience engagement. Whether you’re involved in large-scale tours or working within local comedy scenes, this discussion will offer valuable takeaways.

Live performances from emerging comedians, soon to be announced, will also form part of the day.

The Comedy Mixer will provide ample time for networking. With drinks and nibbles on hand, attendees can engage in conversations, share ideas, and establish connections within the industry. Be sure to stick around after the formalities for an evening filled with comedy!

For more information and to secure your place at the event, please contact [email protected] or get your ticket to the mixer here.
