The week began with our Ticketmaster @ ILMC client showcase, where we showcased new tools like Artist Sign-Up, which recently rolled out in the UK with Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour and is designed to help promoters capture and convert fan demand, as well as products that are now rolling out across EMEA to drive High Demand Onsale success, such as Smart Queue and Interactive Seat Maps. The day ended with a casual Ticketmaster Drinks Evening, bringing industry professionals together.
On Wednesday, we sponsored ILMC Touring Entertainment Live, an event focusing on attractions. At our stand, we highlighted our self-service ticketing solution, Universe, and offered attendees a chance to win a VIP table at The Traitors: Live Experience. Alex Berti, VP of Client Development at Ticketmaster UK, joined a Marketing Masterclass panel, offering insights on sustaining excitement for touring shows, optimising pre-sales, and leveraging ticketing partnerships.
Thursday saw Ticketmaster’s SVP of Music and Festivals, Sarah Slater, participated in Grassroots Touring panel. The discussion tackled the challenges of developing early-stage artists, evolving touring dynamics, and the importance of fostering a new generation of live music fans.
We wrapped up the week at the ILMC Futures Forum, where emerging executives met with industry leaders. Sarah Slater took on a mentorship role, sharing her expertise with the next wave of live entertainment professionals.
A special congratulations to Andrew Parsons, Regional VP for the UK & Ireland, who received The Ticketing Professional Award at the Arthur Awards, a well-deserved recognition of his leadership, dedication, and expertise in our ever-evolving industry.
