The eighth edition of the UK’s leading awards for rock and metal will see the event return to the O2 Forum Kentish Town on Thursday 22 August 2024.
Ticketmaster is proud to announce its headline sponsorship of the Heavy Music Awards 2024 (HMA24). Building on its longstanding partnership with the HMAs at the category level, Ticketmaster steps up to Headline Sponsor.
The Heavy Music Awards shines a spotlight on the year’s best talent across the rock and metal landscape. Once again, the HMAs will exclusively utilise Ticketmaster’s Universe platform.

Taking place on Thursday 22 August 2024, the event returns to the O2 Forum Kentish Town – to once again showcase a scene that continues to innovate and thrive. The London venue has played host to the HMAs on four previous occasions, most recently for the sold out HMAs in 2021 and 2022.
The Heavy Music Awards will feature live performances and awards presentations by established and emerging artists, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion – an aspect that has become a signature of the event since its inception in 2017.
In recent years, the HMAs have hosted performances at the venue by the likes of Sleep Token, Beartooth, Nova Twins, Holding Absence, Loathe and Static Dress. The HMA24 line-up of performers and presenters will be announced closer to the event.
As in previous years, an industry panel of over 1,000 individuals will nominate their favourites to generate the finalists, with the public voting to decide the winners in each category. In 2023, the HMAs received over 1 million votes.
