This morning the disability-led charity Attitude Is Everything unveiled the nominees for their 2019 Outstanding Attitude Awards and Ticketmaster is among them! We’ve been nominated for one of the Ticketing Without Barriers Awards.
For 18 years Attitude Is Everything has been supporting nonprofit and commercial organisations in making what they do more accessible and inclusive for deaf and disabled people.
Launched this year, the Outstanding Attitude Awards will be decided by a panel of fans, artists and industry experts. The winners will be revealed at an accessible ceremony held on 12 March 2019 at Islington Assembly Hall.
We’re thrilled to have been shortlisted with the diverse organisations that not only comprise the UK’s live music scene, but are also striving towards making live music accessible for everyone.
“There can’t be many award shows that cover nominations from live music’s biggest and most recognised global brands next to those from outdoor toilet specialists and tiny local venues,” said Suzanne Bull MBE, CEO of Attitude Is Everything. “But that’s what makes the Outstanding Attitude Awards so special. It highlights how, regardless of size, scale and budget, everyone has the capacity to tear down barriers and make music more inclusive. The only limit is our imagination, and that’s what we’ll be celebrating on 12 March.”
