Digital tickets are changing the game – and they’re just about to get even better.
From next week, fans using their mobile to enter an event will see a smart animation on the header and footer of the ticket.
While the ease of digital tickets remains exactly the same, with fans simply presenting their smartphone for scanning at the venue, it will now be immediately obvious if the ticket has been transferred correctly or is a screenshot.
Getting rid of anonymous paper tickets and moving to animated digital ones unlocks a host of benefits. From greater security to decreased fraud, using mobile makes it easier and quicker for fans to enter the venue.
As well as that, personalising tickets in this way gives a much more engaging experience where it’s easy to share tickets with friends, gain access to offers and benefits and be able to get hold of tickets through My Account at the click of a button.
