We’re proud to present the latest release in our Homecoming video series, exploring some of our favourite upcoming artists in their home town of Glasgow, and the venues that make their city and scene so special.

Over one weekend, we followed Glasgow’s brightest new music acts; The Ninth Wave, Walt Disco and Lucia as they delved into the city’s growing underground scene.

Visiting everywhere from the legendary King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut to the epic The SSE Hydro, this edition of Ticketmaster Homecoming merely scratches beneath the surface of Scotland’s biggest city, exploring what makes it so alluring for artists.

Hamish Fingland from Glasgow Rock Band LUCIA commented:

“Working with Ticketmaster on Homecoming for me was a no brainer. I’d seen the previous films they’ve done and was a fan of the documentaries style and what they bring out of the bands. The filming crew were excellent to work with jam packing all these shows into the busy weekend and guys at Ticketmaster have great ideas on how to support these bands and get the name out there. What’s happening just now in Glasgow really is incredible to be a part of, its vibrant and buzzy and we have some of the best talent in the UK. There is such a brilliant attitude amongst people in The Scottish Music Industry. I think this Documentary really shows how passionate and supported artists feel up here.”

Shout out to co-producers James Copson @ anattic.tv and freelance producer Emily Brinnand.
