A year ago today we launched our very first international charity partnership with Cancer Research UK and 19 cancer charities across 20 of our markets, with 2 additional markets and cancer charities joining this year. Since then we have raised over €366,000 together, a truly phenomenal number.
In addition to website upsell, this number is thanks to the sheer amount of Ticketmaster staff shaking charity buckets at train stations, hosting sausage sizzles, morning teas, pub quizzes and even a dart championship all in aid of this one cause.
This week we’ve had staff shaking buckets on the streets of Stoke and London. This is what our staff had to say:
‘It was a very rewarding day in Stoke. After a later start, as the collection buckets only arrived at 8:30am, we set up camp at Stoke Station where the staff were very helpful and 12 staff collected throughout the day until 6:30pm. We have held cake and biscuit sales and donated for wearing pink today and our Grand Total is £553.70.’

It was even better collecting knowing that our other UK offices were doing the same.
