Ticketmaster are proud to be partnering with the Heavy Music Awards for a fourth consecutive year aligning with the HMA’s special category, The H, which is awarded to an individual or organisation that has gone to exceptional lengths in the last year to make the rock and metal scene a more positive place.
As Official Ticketing Partner for the event, Ticketmaster will be providing their ticketing platform Universe for the HMAs live event at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on Thursday 2 September 2021 which will also be livestreamed via Twitch. Universe has provided ticketing for many industry awards to date including the UK Festival Awards, and over the past few years has become a key ticketing platform for livestreamed events, exhibitions, festivals and self-service ticketing.
The finalists for the Heavy Music Awards categories were decided via nominations from almost 700 industry insiders, and the winners have been chosen entirely through a public vote. 1.43 million fans have voted in this year’s HMA Awards making it the biggest and best yet.
The live event will also feature performances from Sleep Token, Trash Boat, Hot Milk and As Everything Unfolds.
