It’s the season of goodwill and the industry have been busy with campaigns to raise funds and awareness for charities and the unsung heroes of live entertainment; the crew.

50 artists and promoters take part in #ILoveLive

Latitude Festival and Reading & Leeds (Festival Republic), TRNSMT Festival (DF Concerts), SJM Concerts and the Warehouse Project are just some of the 50 generous donators to the #ILoveLive campaign, giving away money can’t buy prizes in prize draws to raise money for stage crew charity Stagehand.

Stagehand provides financial help for all UK stage crew who are in the greatest need. The campaign has raised over £400k via over 24,000 supporters so far. Prize draws close at 6pm on Thursday 17 December.


Secret Cinema raise cash for Crisis

The award winning Secret Sofa series from Secret Cinema is back for a one off special to raise cash for the homeless, with the price of a ticket being donated to Crisis. The immersive film club will screen Elf into people’s homes on Friday 17 December with dance offs, maple syrup drinking comps and more. Tickets on sale now.


Action Aid partner with Latitude Festival

On 21 January Latitude Festival and Action Aid will host a virtual stand up gig ‘Stand Up With Women’ featuring top UK comedians. Money raised will go to support ActionAid’s vital work, helping to end violence and fight poverty so that all women, everywhere, can create the future they want.


Camp Bestival raise cash for Crew Nation

At the start of the month, Camp Bestival streamed a Christmas Party with some of the teams favourite Camp Bestival acts and DJs, in support of Crew Nation, a relief fund to help support live music crews who have been directly impacted as shows are put on pause due to COVID-19. DHP launch their winter fundraiser

Music promotor DHP have launched a winter fundraiser for their annual Beat The Streets campaign, raising cash for homelessness charity Framework. Instead of the usual events, they have had a raffle, JustGiving challenges and have launched a Crowdfunder with plenty of prizes and experiences to be won.
