Social enterprise Scotland Re:Design are bringing back their annual Fashion Festival this November, and have chosen Ticketmaster’s Universe ticketing platform to ticket the event.
The Fashion Festival will run from 17 – 21 November 2021 at V&A Dundee, the iconic Scottish home of Design – and will mark the venue’s first ever Scottish Fashion Runway Show.
Chris Hunt, Scotland Re:Design Director said:
“We chose Universe for a variety of reasons after having looked at what else was out there on the market. The self-service aspect was crucial as we wanted control over creating our events ourselves. And we wanted them to look great online! The competitive booking fees also played a part.”
The five-day calendar of events is themed on Equality, Sustainability and Technology and will host over 14 individual events featuring live music gigs, runway shows, pop-up shops plus virtual talks, workshops, showcases and a closing party online.
We asked Scotland Re:Design what features they have found most useful about using Universe;
“The ability to create the events ourselves with basic info initially, then build them out has been brilliant. We love being able upload a variety of images on each event. We think our event pages look fantastic as we can really highlight what the events are about and what to expect!
There are lots of text features where you can hyperlink to the artists exhibiting too, so adds more content to the events.
Many of our events are online and Universe automatically will send these links to customers an hour before the event so that’s totally ideal!
There is also a helpful guide online if you aren’t quite sure how to do something on Universe event wise, and generally it is a really positive experience to manage.”
