Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger has been spotted in the studio with One Direction. Yes, really.
The frontman – who’s arguably responsible for some of the most infectious rock songs of our generation – was pictured with the pop band on Instagram last week.
His bandmate and Nickelback drummer, Robin Diaz, shared the cheeky snap online, showing 1D’s Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne alongside the Canadian rockers.
No official statement has been made as to whether the bands are collaborating, but the photo is sure to fan the flames of speculation.
The studio session also follows Pete Wentz’s recent revelation about Fall Out Boy’s work with One Direction. Here’s hoping Nickelback avec 1D actually sees the light of day.
