McBusted’s Matt Willis isn’t the only one getting giddy over Slipknot’s tour with KoRn this week, oh no. King 810 frontman David Gunn told us just what it means to be supporting the iconic duo in the UK.

“We’re indebted to our touring partners in Slipknot and KoRn for allowing us to play alongside them, but also to the UK and Europe for hosting us,” Gunn said.

Have caused a stir in the metal world since their arrival, King 810 – an abrasive four-piece from Flint, Michigan – put out their debut album, Memoirs Of A Murderer, on Roadrunner Records in August 2014.

“When we made this record, we told a handful of stories,” Gunn explained. “We thought these stories would only be embraced by those who were a part of them; our friends and family in Flint.

“The fact that we’re welcomed by countries we’ve never thought of having the chance to even visit, is unbelievable.”
