This is not a drill! Elf the Musical is coming to the West End, with a 10-week run at the Dominon Theatre next Christmas.

The hilarious production is based on the now-cult Christmas film starring Will Ferrell, which sees Buddy the elf discover his real identity away from the North Pole in New York. Sure.

Elf the Musical

Written by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, the stage adaptation opened on Broadway in 2010. It was also performed in Plymouth and Dublin ahead of making its West End debut this December.

There aren’t enough gifs in the world to demonstrate our excitement, but still…

The West End production will be directed by Morgan Young but no announcement has yet been made on casting.
