Each year Ticketmaster Artist Services set up hundreds of presales, helping tour announcements drive album pre-orders whilst reaching millions of fans in the process.

Liam Gallagher’s new album Why Me? Why Not? was released September 20. The reaction to the lead single ‘Shockwave’ was biblical. It shot straight to the top of the Official Vinyl and Trending Charts, in the process underlining Liam’s status as a rock star who speaks to new and established fans alike.

Ticketmaster Artist Services and Warner Music set up an international campaign for fans to pre-order ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ from Liam’s official store in order to receive access to an exclusive pre-sale for tour tickets. The pre-sale opened at 9am UK / 10am CET on Wednesday July 10.

As part of the campaign, Ticketmaster Artist Services offered a campaign plan across 5 markets reaching over 3 million fans through Homepage spotlights, blog announcements, social media promotion and targeted emails to past bookers and past bookers of related acts such as Oasis, Noel Gallagher, The Killers, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Paul Weller, Blur, Radiohead, The Kooks, The Libertines and more!

Ticketmaster customers also had the opportunity to add a special limited edition tour print to their order.  Hundreds of Liam Gallagher fans took advantage of the merch offer
