Hundreds of thousands of people have visited Ticketmaster over the past week to enter the ballot for the Platinum Party At The Palace, a special event which will form part of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations on 4 June 2022.
The ballot opened at 7am last Thursday and will remain open until 23:59 hrs GMT on 23 March 2022 after which tickets will be drawn at random.
Broadcast live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and BBC Radio 2, and supported across the entire BBC network, the Platinum Party at the Palace will bring together the world’s biggest entertainers, all performing in celebration of Her Majesty The Queen becoming the first British monarch to reign for seventy years.
5,000 free pairs of tickets are available through the ballot, meaning over 10,000 members of the public will get a chance to be there in person to witness this once-in-a-lifetime concert.
Successful applicants will be directed to sign into or create a Ticketmaster account to accept their mobile tickets, for what will be a totally digital event.
